CHINESE GUARDIAN LION DOGS AT CHATEAU CHANGYU MOSER XV

Two heads are better than one! Chinese Guardian Lion Dogs or ‘Foo dogs’ like these two guarding the gates of the Chateau are symbolic, protective statues, and they are designed in pairs — one is female, the other is male. ⠀

The female represents yin, and symbolically protects the people dwelling inside the home, while the male statue, representing yang, protects the structure itself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our little Changyu- Moser XV Foo dogs not only protect the chateau and the people, they guard the precious vineyards around the estate and the wines in our barrel cellar! Winery guard dogs! ⠀⠀⠀
