Fatt Pundit An exciting new Indo-Chinese, adorned with vintage artworks of Indian deities and bamboo birdcages, comes to Covent Garden this month, following the success of its flagship Soho venue. The menu tells the story of India’s Chinese immigrant community, alongside cocktails inspired by the flavours and spices of both countries, such as the Birds Eye Margarita, made with bird’s eye green chillies, used extensively in Indo-Chinese cooking, as well as tequila and pink salt. Guests can expect steamed momos, hearty Nepalese dumplings packed with beef, leek and chilli, Malabar monkfish curry and sweet and sticky venison, with burnt garlic and crispy noodles. The wine list features a carefully curated collection of white varieties, such as Gewurztraminer, Gruner and Riesling, as well as wines from China such as the Chateau Changyu Moser XV Helan Mountain Blanc – the first ever white Cabernet Sauvignon to come out of China.

Sadly we couldn’t go ahead due to the pandemic and what a very strange 12 months it has been. We have some exciting plans to do something when the time is right.
Purple Air is from @lenz_m_moser ‘s favourite vineyard at the chateau It’s just outside the main entrance, a little parcel of 4 hectares of tiny #ningxia Cabernet Sauvignon berries
Lenz selects certain rows and some times specific vines - he gives very clear instructions for the pickers.
2016 was a truly great year in Ningxia - 2016 is richer, more flavour and tannins than in the other great year
After vinification, the wine undergoes ageing in barriques (5 different coopers, French, medium toast, 100 % first use) in the barrel cellar at the Chateau for 24 months.
In traditional Chinese symbolism, purple symbolizes divinity and immortality and in modern times, purple is used to represent love or romance. It’s also Lenz Moser’s favourite colour!

У 2015 році пан Ленц заснував «LENZ M. MOSER PROJECTS» з чіткою метою відібрати лише найкращі, але дуже особливі проекти у новому світі вина та надихнути своїх партнерів завдяки своєму 30-річному досвіду та ноу-хау.
Lenz Maria Moser - п’яте покоління австрійської винної сім’ї Lenz Moser і 15-те місце в прямій лінії роду Moser. Ця родина займається виноробством з 1610 року. Ленц здобув подвійну університетську освіту у знаменитому австрійському Клостернойбурзі з питань бізнесу та енології.
Навіть завдяки своїй офіційній освіті, Ленц приписує своє розуміння основних речей у житті та свої енологічні знання своєму дідусю, легендарному професору доктору Лоренцу Мозеру III, який винайшов та розробив всюдисущу австрійську решітчасту систему, що називається "Lenz Moser Hocherziehung" та здійснив революцію у вирощуванні виноградників у Європі.
Після двох інтенсивних років будівництва «CHATEAU CHANGYU MOSER XV» було офіційно відкрито 18 серпня 2013 року поблизу Іньчуань, столиці провінції Нінся.
Кожен етап виробництва вина відбувається в замку: виноградарство, пресування, бродіння, витримка у підвалі та розлив у пляшки. У замку також є музей, який ілюструє як історію китайського виноробства, так і історію Чаню з часу її заснування в 1892 році.
Принциповою ідеєю цього замку є співпраця між CHANGYU як першопрохідною китайською виноробнею та європейською / австрійською родиною Мозер: непросте і захоплююче поєднання появи китайців у світовому винному світі, що прагне стати членом найкращих у світі та європейського духу.

Die Okra ist ein Malvengewächs. Die fingerförmige Schote ist weltweit verbreitet, besonders beliebt ist sie in der Küche der Levante. Viele kennen das Gemüse vom Griechenlandurlaub oder vom Restaurantbesuch. Okraschoten haben Längskanten, eine pelzig samtige Haut, im Querschnitt sind sie sternförmig. Gefüllt ist das Fruchtgemüse mit perlenartigen Samenkügelchen. Der Eigengeschmack der Okra ist mild süßlich bis leicht herb, beim Kochen sondert die Schote einen milchartigen Schleim ab, der sich zum Binden von Saucen und Suppen eignet. Häufig serviert man Okraschoten mit Tomatensauce, in Currygerichten, in Eintöpfen mit Huhn oder Lamm, man kann sie auch frittieren oder als Salat anrichten. Es gibt unterschiedliche Sorten, die bis zu zwanzig Zentimeter lang werden. Mittlerweile baut man sie auch in Österreich an.
